Terrible service and awful food. Having complained about a watery piece of fish I was rudely asked “Well what do want me to do about it…” I was advised that if they were in a restaurant, they would return the food to the chef. I explained that we were not in a restaurant and that I would have to get in my car in order to return the food. I was told to take the fish back and attempted to explain that my son was ill, that I was unable to return the fish tonight. I was lectured as to the various timescales that previous complainants had taken to complain, before being sarcastically offered the option to collect “The fish you’ve already eaten.” I took up the offer to collect the food and was then told “I haven’t got time.” As a Norwich business owner, I attempted to explain about customer service, before the telephone was hung up on me. I returned the call where upon the fish fryer refused to speak with me and instead conveyed a 3rd hand conversation with a member of staff. I was then offered a refund if I returned tonight, with the person knowing very well that I was not in a position to do so. Eventually I was told, come in tomorrow and you can have the money back for your fish… All in all, an experience that I will not be repeating in this particular location. I have never been so humiliated in a simple phone call to make a complaint about inferior quality food. The service and quality at this location was absolutely terrible. 22.11.2011
