Optics

I was refused entry a few weeks ago for having 'Timberland' boots on, and was told that these were not acceptable. This was on a 'student' themed night where the local 'chavs' were all wearing scruffy white trainers? I find this obsurd, as the footwear I had on cost over £100. I don't class these as unsuitable or not acceptable. It was their loss though, as I spent my money elsewhere. Shall not be returning anytime soon.

Optic seems to be the post-pub night-spot of choice of the well-to-do of Norwich wishing to steer well clear of many of the other dives on Prince of Wales Road. Perhaps it's the outlandish door charge and the price of drinks which keeps a certain demographic out. That said, it's one of the few places you can let your hair down after hours where you don't feel at all nervous. You're guaranteed a busy bar and dancefloor so it's worth a visit to make up your own mind.
